Accessibility
This page describes how aiuc.se is built, what we have done so that more people can use it, and what we have not tested. It was written on 15 August 2026.
What the site does
Built to work without a mouse
The pages are built with semantic HTML. Headings, lists, tables and links are marked up as what they are, so a screen reader can follow the structure instead of guessing.
The site can be used with a keyboard. Navigation, links, forms and buttons are reachable without a mouse, and it is visible where focus sits.
At the top of every page there is a link that skips past the navigation straight to the content.
Images have alt text. Where an image is decoration only, the alt text is left empty so the screen reader skips it instead of reading out a file name.
No information is carried by colour alone. Where something is marked, it is also said in words.
What we have not verified
The site has not been reviewed by an outside party
The site has not been reviewed against WCAG by an independent party. Nobody outside this company has gone through the pages with a formal method and written an opinion.
Contrast values have not been measured systematically. We chose colours so that text should be legible, but we have not measured every combination of text and background.
Screen reader behaviour has not been tested systematically. We have not gone through the site page by page with NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver.
That means there may be problems we do not know about. We would rather say so plainly than leave it unmentioned.
If something does not work
Write to us and we will look at it
If you find something on the site you cannot use, write to info@aiuc.se. Please say which page it was and what happened.
We read everything that comes in and answer within a reasonable time. If it can be fixed we fix it. If it cannot, we say why.
If you need content from the site in another format, get in touch and we will sort it out.
