AI Strategy & Implementation

A day on which AI initiatives are worth doing

For you in management who have to take a position on proposals without being able to go into the technology. A full day on site, SEK 12,900 excluding VAT.

About the course

The hard part is not getting started. It is choosing what to leave out.

If a management team has to choose between several AI proposals, a whole day on site is the right form, because the work consists of weighing your own cases against each other, and that cannot be done in an hour in front of a screen.

Most management teams have more AI proposals than they have the time, money and people to carry out. The proposals come from different directions, they all sound reasonable, and they cannot be compared with one another.

During the day we go through what separates a proposal that holds up from one that merely sounds good. What is required for something to work in everyday use, what it usually costs in time and work, and which questions you need to ask before you say yes, among them who checks what a tool produces before it is used.

After the day you get a record of completion. It is yours, it can be checked afterwards by whoever you show it to, and it stays with you if you change employer.

You work with proposals from your own organisation. No technical background is needed.

After the course

What you can do when you leave

Tell a proposal that holds up from one that merely sounds good

Which questions settle it, and in what order you ask them.

Put a price on what an initiative costs

Not the licence fee. The time, the work and the upkeep that come after.

Commission an agent, and know how to stop it

You can write an order that says what the agent may touch, what it may not touch and when it has to stop and ask. You know where to see what it actually did, how to halt it mid run, and who answers for the result before it is started.

Say no with a reason that stands

So that whoever put the proposal forward understands why, and can come back with a better one.

Are you between jobs?

Your job security council may pay for the whole course. That applies to TRR, TSL and several others, and it is more common than most people think.

No. The day is about choosing between proposals, not about building anything.

Yes. AI Strategy & Implementation includes a sixty-minute module on commissioning, bounding and stopping an agent, meaning a tool that carries out steps on your behalf rather than only answering a question. You write an order with at least one stop condition for a recurring task in your own organisation, and you work out what has to be visible afterwards and who answers for what the agent does. The day also sets the requirement that someone checks what a tool produces before it is used, and that it is clear who that someone is.

No, and that is a deliberate choice. The day is built on participants working with their own cases and testing them against each other in the room. That does not work over video.

No. We train. We do not produce your plan and we do not assess your organisation. When the question is about that, it is something other than training, and we say so.

Yes, and it is usually better. You go back with the same picture of what you chose and why. If there are more than four of you, we would rather come to you instead.

Yes, a personal record after completing the course. It is issued digitally and can be checked afterwards, also by someone outside AIUC. We call it a record of completion and not a certification: a certification is issued by an independent body against an established standard, and no such standard exists for general AI literacy.

AI for managers is about how you lead others through the change, meaning the people and the way of working. This day is about the selection: which proposals you should carry out and in what order. Many take both, and then the managers course comes first.

More than five days before the start it costs nothing. Two to five days before, half the course fee is charged. The day before or on the day, the full fee is charged. Get in touch as early as you can, and we will solve what can be solved.

Are several of you on the management team?

Then we would rather come to you. The same day, your own proposals as the material.
