How to do it
Four steps, and you never pay out of your own pocket
This page is written for you who read English and are in Sweden. If you have been given notice or are between jobs, an omställningsorganisation, a job security council such as TRR (Trygghetsrådet) or TSL, can pay the whole course fee. You are assigned a coach there, and it is the coach who approves the course.
- 1
Choose a date
The course needs a set date before the job security council can approve it.
- 2
Talk to your coach
Tell them which course and which date. It is the coach who approves it.
- 3
Send the paperwork
We have a ready text you can paste in, and a fact sheet the coach usually asks for. Both are further down.
- 4
We invoice them directly
Once it is approved we send the invoice to the job security council. You pay nothing yourself.
Price
Fixed price, everything included
The price is the same as for every other participant: SEK 3,900 for the online course, SEK 8,400 for a full day on site. Excluding VAT.
Nothing is added on top. Course material, record of completion and follow-up are included, and we add no administrative fee because the invoice goes to a job security council.
For your coach

I have found a course I would like to take: <course name> at AI Utbildningscentrum, <date>, <online or city>.
The course costs SEK <price> excluding VAT and the price is fixed with everything included. There is a course outline on their website: <link to the course page>
After completing the course I receive a record of completion that can be checked.
Can you approve it?
Best regards

Common questions about funded AI training
Nothing, if your job security council approves the course. The invoice then goes straight to them and you pay nothing yourself. The price is the same as for every other participant at AI Utbildningscentrum: SEK 3,900 for the open online course of three hours, SEK 8,400 for a full day on site of seven hours, of which about six hours are training and about an hour is a lunch break. Both prices exclude VAT. Course material, record of completion and follow-up are included, and no extra fee is added because the invoice goes to a job security council.
An omställningsorganisation, in English a job security council, is the Swedish body that can pay for training if you have been given notice or are between jobs. TRR (Trygghetsrådet), TSL and several others are such organisations, and AI Utbildningscentrum has delivered courses to participants from several of them. You are assigned a coach there, and it is the coach who decides whether your particular course is approved, so ask your coach first. What we can answer is what the course costs, how long it is and when it runs.
In four steps. First choose a course that has a set date. Then talk to your coach at the job security council, because it is the coach who approves it. Then send the paperwork: on this page there is a ready text you can paste in and a fact sheet the coach usually asks for. Once it is approved, AI Utbildningscentrum invoices the job security council directly, and you pay nothing yourself.
Yes, in practice. A course without a date carries no protection if it is cancelled, and most coaches therefore do not approve it. Choose a session with a published date before you send the paperwork to your job security council.
Yes. The open courses at AI Utbildningscentrum are held online in real time by video meeting, and you take part wherever you are in the country. The same courses also run on site in Stockholm and Gothenburg. The online course costs SEK 3,900 and takes three hours, the full day on site costs SEK 8,400 and takes seven hours, of which about six hours are training and about an hour is a lunch break. Both prices exclude VAT.
The open online course is three hours. A full day on site in Stockholm or Gothenburg is seven hours, of which about six hours are training and about an hour is a lunch break. The length is the same whoever pays for the course, and it is one of the details the coach usually wants before approving the training.
Yes. After completing the course you get a personal record of completion with your name, the name of the course, the date and a serial number. It is issued digitally and can be checked afterwards through a QR code, without logging in, also by someone outside AI Utbildningscentrum. The record is yours and stays with you if you change employer.
Yes, if you are enrolled with a job security council and your coach approves the course. The terms are decided by the job security council and not by AI Utbildningscentrum, so start by asking your coach what applies in your case. Then choose a session that has a published date, because the coach needs the date in order to approve it. The open course listing is the same whether you are looking for work or employed, so choose the course that suits you and a session that has a date.
That is decided by your job security council, not by AI Utbildningscentrum. We make no assessment of what applies to you, so ask your coach or your job security council about omställningsstudiestöd before you plan around it. What we can answer is what the course costs, how long it is, when it runs and what you take with you afterwards.
Congratulations, first of all. If you cancel more than five days before the course starts it costs nothing. Two to five days before, half the course fee is charged, and the day before or on the day, the full fee. Get in touch as early as you can and we will solve what can be solved, and tell your coach, because it is the job security council that is named on the invoice.
