AI for HR

AI in recruitment, skills and employee matters

For you who work with people, and who get the question of what is allowed before anyone else has asked it.

About the course

Two things at once: your own tools, and everyone else's

For an HR department that has to be able to document what the staff have been through, a record only the recipient can show is not enough. It needs to be checkable by someone outside the organisation, and that is what you get here.

HR has two jobs at once. You use the tools in your own work, in adverts, source material and summaries. And you answer what everyone else is allowed to do.

We go through where AI belongs in the recruitment process and where it does not, how to check what comes out of the tool before you use it, what applies when applications contain personal data, and how you keep track of what the staff have actually been through. We do not walk through the recruitment tools on the market one by one: the person taking the course rarely owns the purchase.

After the course you get a record of completion. It is yours, it can be checked afterwards by whoever you show it to, and it stays with you if you change employer.

You need no technical background.

After the course

What you can do when you leave

Know where in recruitment the tool does not belong

And be able to say why, to someone who wants to use it there anyway.

Check an AI answer before you use it

You decide in under a minute whether an answer is worth working with or should be thrown away, and you recognise the three failures that come up most: a fact that is not there, something that dropped out on the way, an assumption the tool made without saying so. You can trace a claim back to a source you can open yourself and say who answers for the content once the document goes further.

Handle material that contains personal data

What may be entered, what may not, and who decides where you are.

Keep track of what the staff have been through

So that the question can be answered without anyone searching an inbox.

Brief and stop an agent, on the full day

On the full day on site you write a brief for a tool that carries out steps for you: what it may touch, what it may not touch and when it has to stop and ask. You can say who answers for the result before it is started, and which tasks should not be handed over at all.

Are you between jobs?

Your job security council may pay for the whole course. That applies to TRR, TSL and several others, and it is more common than most people think.

It depends on how, and that is exactly the question the course goes through. A tool that ranks applicants is not the same thing as a tool that summarises a document for you.

More organisations are asking for it, and anyone who has to show something afterwards needs a record that can be checked from outside. What applies to your particular organisation is not something we answer here. That question belongs with ampliro.com.

No. We run courses for groups of two people and up, and small groups often work best.

Yes. AI for HR has a module of its own on checking an AI answer before you use it, twenty minutes online and a full hour on the on site day, placed right after the walkthrough of the recruitment process. You practise recognising the three most common failures, tracing a claim back to a source you can open yourself, and saying who answers for the content once a document goes further.

Yes, on the full day on site and for twenty minutes. You write a brief for a tool that carries out steps for you: what it may touch, what it may not touch and when it has to stop and ask. You also settle who answers for the result before it is started, and which HR tasks should not be handed over at all. The three hour online course does not include it.

Yes, a personal record after completing the course. It is issued digitally and can be checked afterwards, also by someone outside AIUC. We call it a record of completion and not a certification: a certification is issued by an independent body against an established standard, and no such standard exists for general AI literacy.

More than five days before the start it costs nothing. Two to five days before, half the course fee is charged. The day before or on the day, the full fee is charged. Get in touch as early as you can, and we will solve what can be solved.
